Police arrested a man after the victim said an argument over trash escalated into a gunfire.

Columbus officers went to the 3400 block of Camp Chase Drive just after 12:30 p.m. on October 31 after a report of a shooting.

Charging documents said a woman was found shot on the backside of her right shoulder. She told investigators that there was a "large argument" about disposing of bulk amounts of trash into an apartment complex dumpster.

A man, identified as 45-year-old Ira Roberts, is accused of retrieving "multiple firearms" from an apartment and firing at the victim as she and her father tried to drive away.

Detectives recovered 25 spent shell casings at the scene. Video captured parts of the incident.

Roberts was arrested and faces two counts of felonious assault. He is expected to be arraigned in Franklin County Municipal Court on Friday.
