Jason Hopwood from London, who was found with statues and stuffed animals worth over 100 euros, has escaped prison.

47-year-old Hajni has been released on bail, since it was considered a unique case, because he acted very skillfully, while collecting all the looted things, Telegrafi reports.

In fact, he did not plan to sell them or profit in any other way, but only to keep them for himself.

"He is obsessed with these animals and stole them to have them around, more can be considered as a nervous base, than food", it was said in connection with the case.

Along with the 18 statues, some parts of the animals that the hunters keep as trophies have also been confiscated.

For a year and a half he is forced to report to law enforcement, while he has to perform 200 hours of unpaid community service. /Telegraph/
